Katie is the owner and Doctor of Chiropractic at Connected Chiropractic, consulting in both Stewarton and Paisley. Since graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2015, she has built a thriving practice supporting patients through all stages of life. Katie has a special interest in pregnancy, birth, and paediatric chiropractic care, and draws on her own experience as a mother to provide empathetic, tailored support for families. Her approach combines evidence-based techniques with a holistic perspective, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of personalised care. Lianne - Practice Manager
Lianne is the Practice Manager, dedicated to keeping operations running smoothly. Outside of work, she treasures spending quality time with her family and enjoys traveling on holidays. Her passion for family and exploration drives her commitment to creating a welcoming practice environment.
✔ Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water to support circulation and help your body process any natural by-products released from the muscles. ✔ Take it easy – Allow yourself time to rest, especially if you’ve had a deep or remedial treatment. Avoid very strenuous exercise for the rest of the day. ✔ Listen to your body – Some mild soreness or tiredness can be normal after certain techniques, but this should ease within 24-48 hours. ✔ Apply gentle heat if needed – A warm bath or hot shower can help relax muscles further (avoid extreme heat if you feel inflamed). ✔ Stretch lightly – Gentle, comfortable stretching can help maintain the benefits of your massage. ✔ Eat nourishing foods – Support your body’s recovery with balanced, healthy meals. ✔ Rest well – Good sleep will help your body integrate the effects of the massage. ✔ Follow your therapist’s advice – They may give specific recommendations tailored to your treatment and goals.
This depends on your individual needs. Some clients benefit from weekly or bi-weekly sessions, while others schedule a massage once a month for general maintenance and well-being.
Wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the treatment, you may be asked to remove certain layers, but rest assured, you will always be properly covered with towels for privacy.
Massage should not be painful, but some techniques, like deep tissue and myofascial release, may involve firm pressure. Your massage therapist will always adjust the pressure to your comfort level. If anything feels too intense, just let them know so they can modify the technique.
You can choose from 30, 45, or 60-minute massage sessions based on your needs and preferences. For the ultimate reset, our holistic therapist Caitlin offers a 120-minute treatment.
The best type of massage depends on your needs. If you're experiencing muscle tightness or soreness, deep tissue or sports massage may be beneficial. If you're looking for relaxation, Swedish massage or lymphatic drainage may be more suitable. Your massage therapist will assess your needs and recommend the most appropriate treatment.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for all appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer your appointment slot to another client
Late Cancellations:
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a fee equivalent to the full cost of the scheduled service will be charged.
Missed Appointments (No-Shows):
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, a fee equivalent to the full cost of the scheduled service will be charged.
Exceptions: We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise. If such a situation occurs, please contact us as soon as possible. We may, at our discretion, waive the cancellation fee in genuine cases of emergency or unavoidable circumstances.
