Chiropractic Services

Our centre provides effective and tailored chiropractic care, delivered by fully qualified and highly trained practitioners.
Patients can expect to be accurately assessed and examined for whether chiropractic can help their unique issues and goals. This is then followed up by a chiropractic adjustment and often a course of treatment, which incorporates lifestyle advice that takes a whole mind and body approach to the patient’s health and well-being.

We have a focus in our Chiropractic Centre on your entire health and wellbeing. The Chiropractor may ask you questions to determine your overall health at the time of your visit with us. For this reason, it’s important to provide your chiropractor with as detailed a medical history as possible.
Please get in touch if you have any questions, or to book in for a New Patient appointment in order to get started on your journey with chiropractic care.

What to expect on your first Chiropractic visit?
After booking your New Patient appointment you will be asked to fill in an intake form to provide general information about you and your medical history, which will be important for your consultation. All forms are electronic and held confidentially – only your Chiropractor will see your medical information.
If you have any problems with filling this form out, please either call the clinic or arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment so we can help you.
Once you arrive at the clinic, you will be taken into the private consultation room with the Chiropractor. Your appointment will start with an in-depth consultation where you and the Chiropractor will discuss the reason for your visit and the goals you wish to achieve with chiropractic treatment.
The Chiropractor will ask you questions in order to determine how they can assist you, and if your case is right for chiropractic treatment.
Initial Chiropractic Examination
An examination will then be carried out, where your Chiropractor will test your body based on the findings in the consultation. This may include assessing your functional movement, your posture and muscle strength. Neurological and orthopedic tests may also be used to obtain important information.
The Chiropractor may ask you to wear an examination gown or shorts for this. You may bring your own sports or active wear for your comfort during the examination.
Your Chiropractor will then explain the findings of the consultation and examination with you. The report of findings will take you through and answer the following: what they have found, if they can help you with chiropractic care and how long to expect for your recovery/treatment plan.
They will also discuss the benefits and risks with you, so this will allow you to make an informed decision about starting chiropractic care. If there are any queries or further testing to be carried out, the Chiropractor will discuss them with you here. Nothing will be carried out without your full and informed consent.

Chiropractic Adjustment
Once you have completed the above stages and decided that chiropractic care is right for you at this time, you may receive your first chiropractic adjustment. The Chiropractor will talk you through every stage of treatment so you will feel comfortable and can get the most out of your first adjustment.
They will then advise when you should book your follow up adjustment based on your own goals and specific condition. You are able to ask any questions throughout this whole process and your appointment is tailored to you specifically. If at any point the Chiropractor does not think they can help you, you will be told straight away and an explanation will be given so you can understand why this is the case.
